The Freedom Business Alliance (FBA) is a membership and partnership organisation. We are aware of security needs related to the nature of freedom business, and we are committed to safeguarding the information you disclose to us. Your personal information will only be used for the registered purposes of the FBA.
We retain contact information such as names, telephone numbers, website information and email addresses which you have provided. We are currently executing a data protection audit to ensure that each location (computer, app, or service) that hosts or processes your personal data is secure. We will list those locations on this page once the audit is complete.
Our right to hold your information depends on your consent. We will hold your information as long as you are a member or partner of the Freedom Business Alliance, or until you request its deletion and removal from our records.
As a ‘data subject’ under General Data Protection Regulations, you are entitled to request that we remove your personal information from our records permanently and completely at any time, or to receive a record of your stored personal information in digital form.
THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW IT IS USED
You make the decision whether or not to proceed with any activity that requests personally identifiable information.
We will make these choices easy to identify by asking you to “opt in” each time that you share personal information. Examples of personally identifiable information include contact information, including name, e-mail address, work and home telephone numbers and a physical postal address.
We may use any information that we collect, including personally identifiable information, to tailor subsequent communications to you, including marketing and conference communications, to administer and operate the newsletter, and for any other communications related to the activities of FBA.
Members and partners receive information via our e-mail newsletter. Users may opt-out at any time from receiving these communications.
We may also periodically conduct surveys because they provide us with important information that helps us to improve our services to you, our members and partners. Participation in such surveys is completely voluntary and you can choose whether or not to disclose this information.
